THE STEELERS ARE: In first place in the AFC North following Week 11’s 18-16 win against Baltimore… Off to their best start through their first 10 games (8-2) since 2020 (10-0)… 26-7-1 against the Cleveland Browns since hiring Mike Tomlin in 2007… 100-69 (.592) in regular-season primetime games since 1970… Own a league-best +20 turnover margin since the beginning of the 2023 season… 10-15 (.400) in games following three days rest since 1970.
DANGERUSS: Russell Wilson is 4-0 as the Steelers’ starting quarterback since returning from injury in Week 7… Has completed 60.3% (73-of-121) of his passes for 942 yards in that time... Has thrown six touchdowns and two interceptions over four starts… His current 12.9 yards per completion are the second-most of his career (13.1 in 2013 with SEA).
GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE: George Pickens has the fourth-most receiving yards in the NFL this season (728)… Has 48 catches on 77 targets through 10 games this season… Tallied two touchdowns over his last four games… Is averaging a career-high 72.8 receiving yards per game… Is averaging the third most yards per reception in the NFL this season (15.2)… Led the league in yards per reception (18.1) last season.
KING OF QUEENS: After being signed as a free agent in the offseason, Patrick Queen has posted 72 total tackles so far this season (18th among AFC players)… Is following up a 2023 campaign where he earned Pro Bowl and Second Team All-Pro honors… Registered a season-high 13 tackles and one tackle for loss in Week 6 against LV.
BISHOP’S CHECKMATE: Beanie Bishop Jr. is the first NFL player to record at least six tackles, two interceptions and one tackle for loss in the same game (Week 7 vs. NYJ) since the Browns’ safety Grant Delpit did so in 2022 (Week 17 at WAS)… Is tied for the third-most interceptions among AFC players (3)… Was named NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month for October.
WATTS UP: T.J. Watt led the NFL in sacks in 2023 (19.0)… Was the first player in NFL history to lead the league in sacks three different years (2020, 2021 and 2023)… Since entering the league in 2017, Watt is averaging .91 sacks per game, which is the most in NFL history (min. 110 games started)… Is tied for first among AFC players with 12 tackles for loss this season… Is tied for fourth among AFC players with 7.5 sacks this season.
CLUTCH CHRIS: Chris Boswell’s 29 field goals through 10 games this season is on pace to break the NFL current record (44) set by David Akers (SF) in 2011… Currently leads the league in made field goals and field goal percentage (96.7%)… Is 20-for-20 on kicks inside of 50 yards this season… Was the first kicker in franchise history to make three or more 50+ yard field goals in a game (Week 1 at ATL).
FLIPPING THE FIELD: The Steelers special teams boast a league-best 44 allowed total punt return yards… Punter Corliss Waitman is averaging a career-high 42.7 net yards per punt… Waitman’s 71-yard punt in Week 11 against Baltimore was the longest of his career and the ninth longest of any punter this season.
